I do not trust my strength for victory. I boast in the God who is already victorious for me. I can boast in Christ when I’m victorious, and in Him also accept forgiveness when I fail; this is the power of the gospel for daily living. -- The Reverier
The most remarkable leaders are not primarily distinguished by their knowledge, experience, skills, or achievements. Instead, their true distinction lies in their ability to endure pain. -- The Reverier
In humility, we find strength, for the Lord resists the proud but embraces the contrite heart. As we walk in the footsteps of Jesus, who alone has reason to stand in pride--for who he is and what he has accomplished--yet chose the path of ultimate humility, we too are called to lower ourselves. In Christ, we have the power to be humble and at the same time, boast in his accomplished work for us.
This idea of running after the impossible so you won’t settle for the possible is as much a vice as it is a virtue. It is true that with God the impossible becomes possible (Lk 18:27). But it’s impossible to be with God unless you run to Jesus (Jn 14:6). So don’t run to the impossible or the possible. Run to Jesus who stands in between and is better than both.
Before you pray for desires unmet, remember in God, all needs are set.

“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.”
